The Volkswagen Taigun is based on the same platform as the Skoda Kushaq

The Volkswagen Taigun is based on the same platform as the Skoda Kushaq and will be launched shortly after the Kushaq. Both, the Taigun and Kushaq are heavily inspired from Volkswagen’s T-Cross and will compete with the Hyundai Creta and KIA Seltos in India. The Volkswagen Taigun will be the second offering from the group’s ‘India 2.0’ project.

i. 1.0 TSI (Turbo Petrol) – 115hp @ 5000-5500rpm, 175Nm @ 1750-4500rpm,6MT/6AT, FWD
ii. 1.5 TSI (Turbo Petrol) – 150hp @ 5000-6000rpm, 250Nm @ 1600-3500rpm,6MT/6DSG, FWD

Expected Price Range – INR 11 lacs – INR 17 lacs (Ex-Showroom)
